Profile & billing
Manage your personal profile, the store subscription, and understand what each plan unlocks.
Intro
Your profile and the store's billing live in the user menu (avatar, top right). Billing matters more than it looks: plan features gate parts of the app — an inactive subscription can hide Tags, Apps, Reports, and more.
Profile
- Open the user menu → Profile.
- Update First name, Last name, and Email, then Save changes. The email is stored in lowercase; capitals do not make it a different login.
- Change your password in the separate password form (current, new, confirm).
The same user menu has Settings, whose left nav lists Profile · Settings · AI assistants — see AI assistants (MCP) for connecting Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT to your store.
Billing / subscription
- Open the user menu → Billing (or Upgrade plan).
- Current Plan shows the plan and usage meters — Stores, Team Members, Orders This Month, Draft Orders.
- Change Plan opens plan selection with Billed Monthly / Billed Yearly (yearly saves 17% — two months free). Paid plans check out through Stripe; payment methods and invoices are managed in Stripe's billing portal.
- Cancel Subscription keeps access until the end of the billing period; Reactivate restores it.
- Return to the Dashboard — locked menus unlock once the plan is active.
Prices and trial
Every paid plan includes a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start it. After the trial, pick a plan under Change Plan.

Plans are feature-based — there is no order volume cap on any plan.
Signs a plan feature is off
- The Tags picker will not load the library
- App menus show an Upgrade badge though the role should include them (Roles look right)
- Creating a team member or connecting a store shows a limit message
- Dashboard shows subscription warnings
