FAQ

Reports

What counts in Reports, why numbers differ, and how exports work.

Why does a shipment not appear in Reports?

Reports use active, purchased labels. A shipment with no label, a voided label, or a cancelled status is excluded. See Reports → Overview.

Postage shows $0.00 on some labels

Those labels were imported from Shopify (store-synced tracking) rather than bought in StoresBoost, so there is no purchase cost.

Packaging costs are zero

Unit costs come from Packing Materials and are snapshotted when the label is bought. Add costs to your containers and materials, and make sure packers select them in the Packing card.

The Custom field sales totals do not match the Overview

Custom field sales uses the order date; every other report uses the label ship date. Different windows, different totals.

The Custom field sales report says units are unattributed

Those orders were imported before the line-item custom field existed, so no value was captured. New orders will have values. See Custom field sales.

Can I report on only some of an order's line items?

Yes. Open Reports → Custom report, choose Line items as the subject, and add a condition such as Fulfillment location equals Denver. Only the matching items are listed and totalled, even when the order also contains items from other locations. See Custom report.

Pack time is empty for a packer

Pack time is measured from the Scan & Ship scan-in to label purchase. Packers who label from the Shipments list have no timing.

How do I export?

Every table with data has a CSV button; detail tables cap at 500 rows per export — narrow the date range if needed.

Who can see Reports?

Anyone with the View analytics permission (default Admin, Manager, Staff, Viewer). Upsell analytics and Rate Shopper savings have their own app permissions.
