Shipments
Search
Open the shipment search from the sidebar and jump to a box by number, customer, tracking, or item.
Intro
Search on Shipments is a panel, not a filter on the table. It finds one shipment and opens it. The list you were on stays as it was.
How to use Search
- Open Shipments.
- Click Search in the sidebar.
- Type at least two characters. Results appear as you type.
- Use the status menu in the panel if you want All statuses, or only Awaiting, On Hold, Shipped, Picked Up, Cancelled, or Merged.
- Click a result to open that shipment.
With the box empty, the panel shows Recently viewed shipments.
What Search matches
- Shipment number, including a split or merged number related to it
- Customer name and email
- Tracking number
- Item name, SKU, and barcode
Each result shows the customer, address, item count, tags, and status.
Search vs Filters
| Tool | Best for |
|---|---|
| Search | Jumping to one known shipment |
| Filters | Building a queue by date, tag, SKU, sync, or any other field |
| Scan & Ship | Opening a shipment from a barcode at the bench |
Tips
- Nothing found on the current status? Set the panel to All statuses. The shipment may already be Shipped or Merged.
- A name or SKU search is enough when you do not have the shipment number.
