Orders
Search
Find orders quickly by order number using Search on any Orders list.
Intro
Every Orders list includes a Search orders… field in the toolbar. It is the fastest way to jump to a known order when you already have the order number from a packing slip, customer email, or Shopify.
Purpose
Search exists so your team does not have to scroll long queues or build a filter just to open one order.
How it helps
- Customer service can open an order in seconds while on a call
- Warehouse staff can jump from a printed order number into the digital record
- You stay inside the current list (Awaiting, Fulfilled, All Orders, …) while searching
How to use Search
- Open Orders and pick the list you want (or use All Orders if you are unsure of status).
- Click Search orders….
- Type the order number / label.
- The list updates to matching orders (search is debounced as you type).
- Click the order to open it.
What Search matches
Search looks at the order number / label.
It does not replace Filters for:
- Customer name, email, or phone
- Product name, SKU, vendor, or type
- Date ranges
- Tags
- Fulfillment status
For those, use Filters.
Tips
- If you only remember the customer, use Filter → Customer instead of Search.
- If nothing appears, try All Orders — the order may already be Fulfilled or Cancelled.
- If a brand-new Shopify order never appears, run Order sync from the top bar, then search again.
