Print & Order sync
Intro
Two tools keep Orders useful day to day: Print for documents, and Order sync for pulling the latest purchases from Shopify. Neither replaces packing — that stays under Shipments.
Purpose
Print the documents your store configured for orders (for example packing-related printouts) from the list or from an open order.
How it helps
- Print for several orders at once from the list
- Preview, download, or open in a new tab before sending to the printer
- Keep document layouts centralized under Advanced → Documents
How to print
From the list
- Select one or more orders.
- Click Print.
- Choose the document and use Preview / Print / Download / Open in new tab as offered.
From an open order
- Open the order.
- Click Print and choose the document.
In the preview you can switch Template, change Sort rows by, and narrow the rows with Location or Filter rows by condition for this print only; the document's saved defaults are preselected. Details in Documents → Printing.
Document types, layouts, and their default sort / location / condition are managed under Advanced → Documents.
Order sync
Purpose
Order lists do not have a separate “reload” button. Order sync (top bar) pulls the latest orders from Shopify into StoresBoost.
How it helps
- New checkouts appear after sync
- Updates from Shopify Admin are reflected locally
- You can see recent runs (imported, checked, failed, skipped) when something is missing
How to sync
- Open Order sync in the top bar.
- Confirm it says you are pulling the latest orders from Shopify.
- Click Refresh now and wait for the run.
- Review Recent runs if an order is still missing — some orders may be skipped by store import filters.
Shipment Synced (different meaning)
The Shipment Synced badge on an order means shipments were processed for that order — not “this row was just pulled from Shopify.” Click the badge for shipment sync details when troubleshooting packing queues.
Opening an order
Click a row to inspect the purchase: items, costs, customer, tags, and links to shipments. From there you can tag, Print, view the customer’s other orders, open linked shipments, or Delete (if permitted). Packing and labels happen on Shipments.
