Views
Intro
Views save a filter set under a name. They appear as tabs beside All at the top of the list, so tomorrow’s queue is one click — no rebuilding filters.
Purpose
Warehouses run on repeatable queues: “Ship today”, “VIP awaiting”, “Fragile”, “Provider sync failed”. Views make those queues part of the UI instead of tribal knowledge.
How it helps
- Everyone works the same queue definitions
- New staff click a tab instead of learning seven filter fields
- A manager updates the view’s filters once — the whole team gets it
How to create a view
- Open a Shipments list.
- Build your criteria with Filter → Apply Filters.
- Confirm the list looks right.
- Click Save view and name it clearly.
- The tab appears next to All, with a count of the shipments it matches on this list. The count updates about once a minute, and right after a shipment is shipped, held or released. Changing page or sort does not recount, and the count queries wait until the shipment list itself has finished loading.
Save view shows when filters are active and you are not already on a named view. In the dialog, Visible to is Just me (a private tab, only your account) or Everyone on this store (a public tab). Public tabs show a Public badge.
A new view also stores the sort that is applied and the columns and column widths you have on screen. Change the columns later with Save current columns on the tab menu; change the sort with Update in the Filter popover.
While a view is selected
Open Filter. The footer has three actions:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Update | Overwrites the selected view with the criteria in the popover |
| Save As New | Leaves the selected view as it is and saves the criteria as a new tab |
| Apply Filters | Runs the criteria without saving |
Use and manage views
- Click a view tab to load its queue; click All to go back to the default scope.
- The ⋯ menu on a tab starts with Private — only you or Public — everyone on this store.
| Action | Purpose |
|---|---|
| View filters | Read the saved criteria without changing them |
| Rename | Change the name, and who can see the tab |
| Duplicate | Copy the filters and columns into a new tab. Copies start as Just me |
| Update filters | Replace the saved criteria and sort with what is applied now |
| Save current columns | Store the current column order and widths on this view |
| Set as default / Remove default | The pinned tab opens first for you |
| Hide | Take the tab off your bar. A public tab stays visible to everyone else |
| Move left / Move right | Reorder your tabs |
| Delete | Remove a private tab |
| Delete for everyone | Remove a public tab for the whole store |
Hidden filters
Hiding is per person. Open ⋯ on the All tab and choose Hidden filters. Each row is marked Private or Public. Show puts it back on your tabs.
