Advanced
Overview
Store configuration hub — fields, automation, documents, visibility, printing, and more.
Intro
Advanced is where admins shape how the store behaves in StoresBoost. Nothing here is daily packing work — these are the switches and rules behind the queues your team uses every day.
Access needs the store-configure permission, so most staff will not see this menu.
Purpose
- Add data the app does not track by default (Custom Fields)
- Automate repetitive decisions (Automation Rules, Hooks, Conditions)
- Control what teams see (Visibility) and how work is labeled (Tags)
- Standardize output — Documents and Printing

A sensible setup order
- Tags — agree the team vocabulary first
- Printing — match your printers before the first label
- Documents — slips and lists the bench needs
- Conditions → Automation Rules — automate once manual flow is stable
- Hooks — only when a rule must also run later, for example when stock changes after the shipment already exists
- Visibility — after departments exist in Collaboration
